GSP CYO BRASSBAND

CONSTITUTION FOR GOOD SHEPHERD CATHOLIC YOUTH ORGANISATION BRASS BAND

1.       NAME

The name of the band shall be Good Shepherd Catholic Youth Organisation (GSP CYO) brassband.

2.       PURPOSE

The purpose of the band is to minister through the use of instruments and drums for

i.                     the CYO

ii.                   the Parish

iii.                   

3.       OFFICERS

The executive of the CYO shall nominate one member to supervise the activities of the band.

4.       MEETINGS

The band shall officially meet on Saturdays and Sundays from 3pm to 4pm. Members shall stay over to join the regular CYO meetings afterwards.

5.       REGULATIONS FOR MEMBERS

i.                     Members shall attend all meetings of the band and CYO meetings as well. Members who go contrary to this rule risk expulsion from the band.

ii.                   Members who absent themselves for four consecutive meetings without any reason will be expelled from the band.

iii.                  All members shall accord due respect to the trainer.

iv.                 No member shall keep any instrument in his/her possession.

v.                   All instruments must be kept in the cupboard after rehearsals and ministrations.

vi.                 Members shall strive to maintain the integrity of the musical instruments.
